About Me
Dr. Meng Xiong was born and raised in Thailand and migrated to the United States when he was 10-year-old. Having been raised in the mountains of Thailand, where medical resources were limited and lack of access to healthcare, he learned to use the plants and herbs available in nature as medicine. This inspired him to continue his study of medicine when he migrated to the United States. He attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as a pre-med student and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Art in Chemistry. With a passion for continuing his training in medicine, he moved to Seattle, Washington, to attend Bastyr University. Dr. Xiong is currently an active Naturopathic Physician and a licensed acupuncturist in Washington.
Dr. Xiong specializes in primary care focusing on pain management, men’s health, IV therapy, sports medicine, and physical medicine. He also has extensive training in craniosacral therapy, osteopathic manipulation, Kinesio taping, Tui Na (Chinese bodywork), cupping, and Chinese herbal formulas.
As a Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist, Dr. Xiong provides a balanced approach to family medicine using conventional medicine and evidence-based natural therapies to assist patients in achieving their health goals. He works with patients of all ages and utilizes a variety of modalities to tailor treatments to each patient’s individual needs. In an effort to help patients make lasting changes and create sustainable health habits, he works to treat the underlying cause of disease and educate patients about their health.
