Physical Medicine
Physical medicine is an integral modality in naturopathic medicine that focuses on treating disorders of somatic tissues. Physical medicine treatments are based on the concept that all tissues are interconnected and can be influenced by the state of the mind and emotion. Techniques include osseous manipulation, hydrotherapy, ultrasound, and therapeutic exercises. These therapies can help the body to recover from injuries, strengthen the immune system, and restore balance.
